Usually within a few minutes or so of a first date, I've made up my mind as to whether I like him. If he's got a big "Ummm No" written across his forehead, I usually won't agree to a second date, even if I do want a free dinner. That whole give-him-a-chance attitude doesn't really resonate with me. However, many friends of mine will continue to date a guy even if they're over him right away -- they say they want to give the chemistry a chance to grow.
How many times, though, is it appropriate to go out with a guy before you finally bail? I feel you'd be leading him on past three dates if you aren't really feelin' him. (And if you don't enjoy his company, then what's the point of wasting your time anyway?) Some girls, though, get in a total revolving door of dates because they can't think of a "good" reason to tell him no.
Tell us! How many dates have you gone on with a guy you weren't truly interested in? Why did you keep saying "yes"? How do you say no to a guy you don't want to date?
